In this article, we will explore how to delete and recover a Team from AAD portal.
In the left-hand navigation pane of the Teams web client, select the three dots (…) right from the Sales team and select Delete the team from the list.
In the Delete the Sales team, select I understand that everything will be deleted. and select Delete team.
From Admin center, we can see, TEAMS-Roll out is deleted now.
Login to Azure AD with Admin account and Under AAD à Groups à select Deleted groups.
Restore deleted Group
We deleted the Teams Rollout earlier and let’s restore this group from AAD portal.
Select the checkbox for Teams Rollout Group and then select Restore Group.
Choose Yes to restore deleted groups.
Note: 30 days after original deletion, groups are permanently deleted.
Check the groups again from Teams Admin Center and it is restored.
